12. Reflecion

i thought that the assignement was interesting and a good ideas because we have been doing somthing diffirent than stting in the class writing and i think this idea was unique. it felt very good, organized, and i enjoyed doing it. i like the comments the my classmates wrote me because i saw that liked my work and thats make me feel good also help me to do my work much better. i enjoyed to make comments on their blog because i can help them throw the comments but i do not comment much but the comments i made were to help others in some words that they wrote wrong or to say he did good work. i felt good about what i wrote in my essay. although was a little diffilcult and some of the exercise.

                                       The Life Is Good

 

I am from the Dominican Republic, where some people don’t have much opportunity. In August 2011, I came to the United States, and I didn’t know English. When I started school I didn’t understand, but I kept fighting to do well in the school. I believe that to get my dream I have to fight against the barriers such as economic, language and prejudice. Some dreams are hard to get, but not impossible.

            I remember when I was a freshman and all ESL students took a math quiz. After it was finished,  I got higher grades than the people who spoke English, and in that moment I thought that now I will never give up. I have to persevere and force myself to learn English. In the classroom there were some students who spoke English, I  think the teacher acts differently with me because I am Latin and sometimes I feel bad when some teachers are explaining something to me and  they think I don’t understand and I need an interpreter. 

            Although I am still fighting barriers, people can still be mean and talk about me behind my back. I ignore them. I just want to be a good student without problems. Spanish speakers also offend me in English because they know I might not understand what they are saying. But for me anything is possible because I try my best in all of my classes to achieve my goals because I always believe in myself and what I can do.

            My beliefs have led me to make good decisions, receive many honors, and make my parents and my ESL teachers very proud of me. I feel glad with myself for all I have done. I have learned about great things, for example, not being shy when speaking English with others. When I am talking and they don’t understand what I am talking, but I keep trying and I never give up or feel bad about it.

             I came from a country that is hard to get opportunities and I believe I have to fight hard to achieve my goals and dreams, but it is not impossible to get what I want. I believe that I can fight for a good life and break down any barriers.

              2.    This essay by Ying Ying Yu a girl with 13 year old and she from China this essay it about how was her life in China where education is the center of every child life. And to get a good education she   have pass for hard things and for that she has learn anything just to get good grade. She believe in duty, but that belief comes with sacrifice.The achievements she make come with a cost. She believe that because only duty will offter her something true and something worthy of her effort. And she doesn´t believe in the dreams because she things that dreams are illusions.
            3. I choose this essay because this girl is a girl to someone can be proud of her girl because she has pass for difficult things to get a great education and good grade a country that no gave a lot of opportunity

            Extra credict:

      1.  This essay by Jackie Robinson he was a black player in major league baseball  and he think that whatever obstacles he found made himself fight all the harder and that his goal it would have been impossible for him to fight. He believe in the human race, in the warm heart and he believe in the goodness of free society because he fight against the barriers that kept negroes out of baseball. I choose this essay because i think this articles is interesting because I like how he thinks and he fight for what he wants.

   1.  To don't trust nobody because you don't know 100% who is everyone and you don't know if one time a friend want to do something wrong to you the person who supposed to me your best friend.

       


    2. To don't carry nobody packages/backpack because a person who get drugs one time tell me to carry his backpack and a police what to see what I get in the backpack and then I going to be the person who is going to be in trouble and not him .

 

         3.To don't tell my problems to nobody because nobody going to fix the problem, then they can tell yours problem to other person and maybe the person that I tell my problems don't going to tell me their           problems.

 My parents always tell to my sisters and  me to thing before we do something because if we did something already we going to pay for what we did and also can affect us future.
